Sterling Finance Raises £1500 for Willow Wood Hospice

On the 18th February 2020 Our “Curry On Business” charity event raised £1500 for Willow Wood Hospice, our local designated charity who supports learning for disabled people. This event was to celebrate the 8th Anniversary of Curry On Business. For the last 8 years, business, professional, entrepreneurs and academics regularly attend in support of local business.

Willow Wood Hospice is an adult Hospice providing specialist palliative care for patients with life-limiting illnesses, both cancer and non-cancer diagnosis. They provide care, free of charge, and patients, families and their carers are at the center of everything they do. The Hospice cost 2.6 million per year to run which equates to £7340 per day. They only receive 21% funding from the Government. This event was organised at Curzon Ashton Football Club.

Curry on Business is a non-profit networking organisation based in Tameside. Curry On Business is held on the 3rd Tuesday of every month at the Amaani Restaurant in Ashton Under Lyne. The main objective is to support local entrepreneurs, professionals and academics to meet and generate goodwill, trust and support. This network is very popular for promoting local businesses that are searching for growth.

Would you like to network with like-minded people, then why not attend our next Curry On Business event on the 17th March 2019 at 6.30pm. We will be presenting this cheque to Willow Wood Hospice on this evening. To book a place contact us on 0161 339 4989 or email info@sterlingfinance.net.
